A new approach to engage the UK’s most digitally disadvantaged young people
In a society that is increasingly ‘digital-by-default’, a lack of digital skills is a major contributor to disadvantaged young people being left behind socially and economically.
To tackle this challenge, we have reimagined digital skills delivery by putting expert youth organisations at the heart of Digital Reach - those with existing and trusted relationships with the hardest-to-reach young people.
Working with 12 delivery partners, we are funding six pilot projects in the UK, to test a range of new models to meaningfully improve the digital skills, confidence and resilience of those young people on the wrong side of the ‘digital divide’. Read more here.
