Internet power is the new force for social impact

The internet has the potential to make social entrepreneurs of us all. By encouraging new forms of connection, contribution and participation, it enables people to get involved in designing radically different approaches to big social challenges.
This is not some blue-sky idea or wishful thinking. There are already some powerful examples of how communities are using the internet to mobilise significant change on the ground, addressing issues of health and wellbeing, unemployment and social injustice.
