We are a leading charity working with young people to prevent them being involved in crime and staying safe within their community.
Our Mission is to raise awareness amongst young people, aged 8 to 18, about the causes, consequences, penalties and impact of crime. We want young people to stay safe, aspire and become law-abiding citizens.
This series of webinars brings together initiatives, experiences, academic understanding and practitioner expertise in the field of digital making. It is supported by Nominet Trust in collaboration with the MacArthur funded Make-to-Learn project.
The events aim to develop resources and conversations that are explicitly international and bring together expertise and experience from the US and the UK.
Today a UK-wide campaign is being launched to inspire a generation of kids to create, not just use, digital technologies. Led by Mozilla, Nesta and Nominet Trust, the Make Things Do Stuff campaign will bring together technology super brands like Facebook, big business such as 02 Telefonica and grassroot organisations like Code Club who are already providing digital skills to young people in the UK. Our message is clear: if you are young person, get involved; if you are a business, get behind this campaign.
