This page (together with the documents referred to) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our site. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, do not use our site.

Accessing our site

Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our site or our entire site.

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world.   • criticise any member of Nominet Trust staff (there are formal complaint mechanisms for staff/service complaints);

  • give the impression that the material emanates from or is endorsed by the Nominet Trust if this is not the case;
  • advocate, promote, incite any third party to commit, or assist any unlawful or criminal act;
  • contain a statement which you know or believe, or have reasonable grounds for believing, that members of the public to whom the statement is, or is to be, published are likely to understand as a direct or indirect encouragement or other inducement to the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism;
  • contain any advertising.

If we, in our sole opinion, believe that the material you have submitted does not meet the standards set out above, we reserve the right not to publish it, or to remove it from the site if it has already been published, or to require you to make changes to it to make sure it meets these standards.

When you submit material for publication on our site, you are agreeing to give us a license to publish the material on our site. You also agree that we can promote that material, for example by linking to it in social media or by publishing excerpts chosen by us elsewhere online.

Our liability

Linking to our site
