New Digital Badges are now available for young people to earn by completing Safe - the Certificate in Social Networking. Developed by DigitalMe, Safe provides free materials including practical activities that develop young people's skills, self-confidence and safety awareness when using social networking sites.
The Flip Yourself team will be launching a closed trial of a new web platform that helps young people showcase their achievements and employability skills. I have written a brief summary of the process we've been through with the aim of sharing our approach to software development.

In March we ran a stand at the Big Bang Fair, the largest annual science, technology and engineering exhibition for young people in the UK. With around 50,000 7-19 year olds spread across four days the result was an explosion of activity and a tired but happy Make Things Do Stuff crew.
