Better Futures

A social networking project aims to help young people develop the skills they need to enter employment or training again

Improving prospects
FutureYou is a safe social networking platform that delivers advice and guidance, mentoring and counselling to 14-25 year olds wanting to re-start their education or employment.

Delivered by We’re Altogether Better with support from Nominet Trust, the project aims to encourage and enable young people to work alone and with others to develop skills that will improve their prospects of getting back into work or learning.

Youth-led collaboration
The FutureYou project uses collaborative social technology to tackle the issues and obstacles that young people face, while also addressing the growing problem of youth unemployment in the UK.

Youth-led at the core, all We’re Altogether Better programmes are co-led and co-designed by young people. This latest project aims to help young people to harness their capabilities and to empower them to transform their own lives and those of their peers too.
