"The internet has the potential to make social entrepreneurs of us all"
Which is why we are working with, investing in and supporting people committed to using the internet to change the world for the better.
The internet enables us all to think radically differently, to stimulate new forms of collaboration and to mobilise new communities of interest to take action for social good. It offers us phenomenal opportunities to inspire the creativity and compassion of millions of users in addressing social needs.
Since our inception in 2008, we have invested over £5 million benefiting more than 170 projects led by organisations as wide-ranging as Age UK and ChildNet, the Alzheimer’s Society, Action on Hearing Loss, Internet Watch Foundation and the Oxford Internet Institute, as well as dozens of social enterprises. You will find examples of the wide range of the projects across this site.
