YouthNet is the UK's first exclusively online charity which aims to support young people in every aspect of their lives. Whether it's emergency help in times of crisis, support with everyday issues, or helping them to get involved in their local communities, YouthNet is always there for young people. It has two award-winning websites: TheSite.org, the guide to life for 16-24 year-olds, and do-it.org.uk, the only website that brings together a national database of volunteering opportunities.
There's now a new research project under way called Looking for answers, which will help launch a major campaign to redevelop TheSite.org and promote a wider awareness about the role the Internet and IT can play in the provision of support services for young people.
"We're really delighted Nominet Trust is helping us with this project" says Martyn Lewis, CBE, founder and chairman. "It's a crucial piece of research to inform the way we redevelop TheSite.org to meet the needs of young people".
